Life Development Institute Description
Membership 101
Our Membership Team is assigned the purpose of fellowship and membership assimilation. Their target is the congregation. It is their business to care for the flock. The Membership/Orientation class will cover the ordinances of the Christian church: Baptism & the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion), the importance of church membership, as well as the vision of New Birth Community Church. It is a requirement for all new members.
Class 101 is held every month on the 2nd Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and is required to become an active member at New Birth Community Church.
Maturity 201
Our Maturity Team is assigned to the purpose of discipleship and is responsible for Class 201. Their target is the committed. Their goal is to lead our members to a deeper spiritual commitment and help them develop to spiritual maturity.
Class 201 is held every month on the 2nd Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Class 201 is required for those who desire to serve in leadership at New Birth Community Church. Class 101 is pre-requisite.
Ministry 301
Our Ministry Team is assigned the purpose of ministry. Their target is the core. Their job is to turn members into ministers by helping members discover their shape for ministry. They conduct Class 301, train ministry guides and conduct follow-up SHAPE interviews.
Class 301 is held every month on the 2nd Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Class 301 is required for those who desire to serve in leadership at New Birth Community Church. Class 201 is pre-requisite.
Mission 401
Our Mission Team is assigned the purpose of evangelism. Their target is the community. Their job is to plan, promote, and oversee all the church's bridge events, evangelism training, and mission projects.
Class 40l is held every month on the 2nd Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Class 401 is required for those who desire to serve in leadership at New Birth Community Church. Class 301 is pre-requisite.
Magnification 501
The Magnification/Music Team is assigned the purpose of worship. Their target is the crowd. Their job is to plan and oversee the weekend seeker services, special worship emphases, skits and events, and to provide music and worship resources to the rest of the church.
